Being a lover of MG myself am super excited to read these and they are just crying out to be read this summer!

Emma Shevah is half-Irish and half-Thai and was born and raised in London. She has travelled extensively and has lived in Australia, Japan, India (where her first child was born in the Himalayas) and Jerusalem before moving back to the UK with her family. Emma has busked as a fire-juggler, been a restaurant manager, a copy writer, an English teacher, a CV advisor and is now a blogger and author.

‘Dream on, Amber’, her debut novel, was published by Chicken House in March 2014.

About Nick Garlick

Nick Garlick is a translator and copywriter, who first had a science fiction novel published many years ago. Aunt Severe and the Dragons, his first children’s book, was published in 2010. It is soon to be followed by Aunt Severe and the Toy Thieves. He has lived in the Netherlands since 1990. Nick Maland trained in English and drama, but rapidly changed to set design, and then to illustration for the Guardian, the Observer and the Independent before deciding to do book illustration. His first book was shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award for Best Newcomer. He is married, has two children and lives in London.
