Spotlight – Forever at Conwenna Cove by Darcie Boleyn

Today I am hugely excited to spotlight the amazing Forever at Conwenna Cove by the lovely Darcie Boleyn.

Forever At Conwenna Cove was released on the 23rd April 2018 published by Canelo and is a romantic comedy perfect for this beautiful weather.

‘If you have never read a book by Darcie Boleyn you are definitely missing out.’ Rae Reads

Following heartbreak, Zoe Russell found a haven in Conwenna Cove. As the owner of the village diner and a volunteer for the local greyhound sanctuary, she’s happy with her peaceful life.

Local surfer Nate Bryson plans to leave Conwenna and see the world. He wants to shake off his reputation as a ladies man and start again somewhere new. Before departing, Nate decides to raise funds for the dog rescue home as a way of giving back to the community.

When Nate approaches Zoe to help with the charity event she sees there’s more to him than meets the eye. Nate can’t believe he’s failed to notice the kind and beautiful woman right before him. But can two such different people ever be together, especially if one of them is determined to leave?

Perfect for fans of Holly Martin, Phillipa Ashley and Sarah Bennett.

About Darcie Boleyn

Darcie Boleyn has a huge heart and is a real softy. She never fails to cry at books and movies, whether the ending is happy or not. Darcie is in possession of an overactive imagination that often keeps her awake at night. Her childhood dream was to become a Jedi but she hasn’t yet found suitable transport to take her to a galaxy far, far away. She also has reservations about how she’d look in a gold bikini, as she rather enjoys red wine, cheese and loves anything with ginger or cherries in it – especially chocolate. Darcie fell in love in New York, got married in the snow, rescues uncoordinated greyhounds and can usually be found reading or typing away on her laptop.

Guest Post – Fab Five Romantic Moments by Darcie Boleyn

It’s that time of year again where I feel all summer-y and want to read all of the romantic summer reads whilst sipping on a glass of wine in the sun.

When I was asked to be on the blog tour for this brilliant adult fiction contemporary romance I instantly fell in love with it’s gorgeous cover and it’s gone straight up the top of my TBR pile.

Summer at Conwenna Cove was released on the 15th May 2017 published in e book by Canelo and sounds gorgeous.

So today for my stop on the tour I have the lovely author herself Darcie Boleyn with five her favourite romantic moments……

Eve has a glittering career, a loving husband and a future. But a terrible twist of fate means she loses it all, and with nowhere left to turn she flees to her Aunt Mary’s home in Cornwall. The last thing on her mind is romance – until she meets Jack.

Jack has seen the worst things people can do to each other and realised he is better off alone. He settles in Conwenna Cove, and saves his affections for the rescue dogs he cares for. But when Eve arrives in the village he can’t deny his attraction to her.

Eve and Jack are both scared to trust, but when they come together it’s impossible for either to ignore their feelings. Can they put their fears aside and learn to love again?

Summer at Conwenna Cove is an emotional and heart-warming holiday read about being brave enough to take a chance on love.

Fab Five Romantic Moments

The scene in Friends, when Rachel is watching the old video of Ross as he prepares to take her to prom, then her boyfriend arrives and Ross is left behind, wearing his father’s tux and holding a bunch of flowers. Then Rachel turns from the TV, crosses the apartment and kisses him. It gets me every time!

Similarly, the proposal scene in Friends featuring Monica and Chandler. I can’t watch it without blurred vision.

When Catherine says ‘I am Heathcliff…’ in Wuthering Heights. It’s a painful, complex, raw love and such a classic line.

When Johnny says ‘Nobody puts Baby in a corner…’ in Dirty Dancing. Oh the goosebumps!

My own most romantic moment has to be when my husband dropped to one knee in Times Square, New York, and proposed to me. It was a truly magical day.

It’s that time of year again where I search for all the fab Christmas reads to read throughout December in the lead up to Christmas.

When I was asked to be on the blog tour for this Christmas adult fiction contemporary romance I instantly fell in love with it’s gorgeous cover and have added it to my Christmas TBR.

A Very Merry Manhattan Christmas was released on the 7th November 2016 published in e book by Canelo and is set to put anyone in the Christmas spirit.

So today for my stop on the tour I thought I would spotlight this book and it’s wonderful author….

Lucie Quigley hates Christmas. It’s the time of year when everything goes wrong in her life. So this year, when she’s asked to be a bridesmaid at her friend Petra’s Manhattan wedding, she jumps at the invitation to escape the festivities.

Dale Treharne has been best friends with Lucie for as long as he can remember. He’s used to looking out for his oldest friend and when she asks him to be her plus one, he can’t seem to find a reason to refuse. Instead, he sees it as a way to help Lucie get through what is, for her, the most miserable time of the year.

In New York, as the snow starts to fall, Lucie and Dale start to realise that their feelings run deeper than just friendship. But can they overcome their pasts, and make it a very merry Manhattan Christmas?
